Cast Coated

These are coated papers that have a very high level of gloss finish. This is achieved during the coating process where the coating surface, while still wet, is pressed against a highly polished heated metal drum that creates an almost mirror-like finish.

Cast coated papers are available in white and a choice of tints. They are ideal for a diverse range of applications such as luxury high quality boxes, high impact magazine inserts, even for the manufacture of shopping bags, as well as more convention standard printed material.

Accolade

Accolade is a one sided (C1S) cast coated solid bleached sulphate (SBS) board.

Accolade is manufactured using a twin wire production process that produces a stiff, bulky, bright white and dust free board, with a high gloss coated surface for superb faithful reproduction of the most demanding print graphics and design.

Accolade has been tested and is certified as safe for use in direct contact with dry and non-fatty foodstuffs, and complies with packaging (essential requirements) regulation 1998:SI1165; for heavy metal content.

It is ideal for archival use or applications requiring acid free paper, as it conforms to ISO 9706 requirements for permanence.

Accolade is made from 100% Elemental Chlorine Free woodpulps, sourced from carefully managed and renewed forests, and is fully recyclable.

The mill manufacturing this product is registered under the BS EN ISO 9002 quality assurance scheme and the BS EN ISO 14001 environmental standard.

Lustrulux

Lustrulux is a range of cast coated solid bleached sulphate (SBS) boards, coated one side (C1S) in a choice of pastel, deep and metallic colours.

With carefully selected raw materials, and a unique twin wire manufacturing process Lustrulux is a stiff, bulky and dust free board. Lustrulux has the most polished, high gloss coated surface available on the market, and its superbly smooth printing surface can reproduce the most demanding print graphics and designs faithfully.

Ideal for physically demanding full colour graphical and premium packaging print jobs, where its strength and stability results in exceptional processing through the toughest conversion and finishing processes.

Lustrulux pastels are certified as safe for use in direct contact with dry and non-fatty food stuffs, and comply with packaging (essential requirements) regulation 1998 :SI1165; for heavy metal content.

Lustrulux conforms to ISO 9706 requirements for permanence, so is suitable for archival use or applications requiring an acid free board.

Fully recyclable and made from 100% elemental chlorine free (ECF) pulps, sourced from sustainable managed forests, Lustrulux is manufactured to precise and controlled specifications. The manufacturing mill is registered under BS EN ISO 9001-2000 quality assurance, and BS EN ISO 14001 environmental standards.

Suited to gravure, offset litho, letter press and silkscreen printing processes, and perfect for embossing, film and foil lamination, hot foil lamination, scoring, die cutting and folding.

Lustrulux is ideal for graphical print, brochures, covers, greetings cards, scratch cards, lottery tickets, tags and folders, and for the packaging of cosmetics, perfume, chocolates and premium food and non-food products.
